Research Fellows 2019
In September 2019, the PAESE joint project has invited cooperation partners from Cameroon, Namibia, Papua New Guinea and Tanzania to work together in the collections in Braunschweig, Hannover, Hildesheim, Göttingen and Oldenburg and to discuss the origin of the objects and the future handling of them.
Paule Dassi, curator of the Royal Museum of Batoufam and Albert Gouaffo, Prof. of the University of Dschang, visited mainly the collections in Braunschweig and Hannover.
Flower Manase, curator at the National Museum of Tanzania, worked with our partners in the collections in Göttingen and Oldenburg.
Nzila Marina Mubusisi, curator at the National Museum of Namibia, and Werner Hillebrecht, Museums Association of Namibia, did research mainly in the collection of the Hildesheim Museum.
Tommy Buga, National Museum PNG, discussed with the project partners in the collection of the University of Göttingen.
