Vorgang J 806/10 im Journal des Roemer-Museums: "J 806/10, Pelizaeus, Bremen, „Schenkt Elephantenzahn, Trommel, Fetischglocke, 1 Bali-Schwert, 1 Holz-Fetisch, 1 Ashanti-Stuhl.“ Gustav Pelizaeus war der jüngere Bruder von Wilhelm Pelizaeus. Er war Kaufmann in Bremen und u. a. an Plantagen in Kamerun beteiligt. Selbst hat er Afrika nie besucht, es haben also andere (Angestellte?) für ihn gesammelt.
