Die Handschuhe stammen aus der Sammlung des im sibirischen Chabarowsk ansässigen Lüneburger Kaufmanns Prelle. Sie lassen sich den Hezhen zuordnen und kamen vor 1899 ins Museum. Im Grodekow-Museum in Chabarowsk gibt es vergleichbare Stücke.
