Rebekka Habermas

Rebekka Habermas

Rebekka Habermas is Professor of Modern History at the Georg August University of Göttingen, has held visiting professorships in Paris, Montreal, Oxford and New York and is a member of the German Council of Science and Humanities (Wissenschaftsrat). Her research interests include gender, religious and colonial history. She is currently researching the Medical Demographic Expedition 1913/14 to the "German South Seas", in which Emil Nolde participated, among others.
